The weekend is over, and it was such a nice one. Two of my nephews stopped by for a couple of hours. These two brothers take time each summer to hike the high country of Colorado. One is from Dallas, one from Austin. And it must have been good to get away from the heat. We had such a good visit, me doing most of the talking. Kristin came out in the afternoon to share the day with her dad..He had a meeting in Colorado Springs. So we had birthday cake and ice cream without him. She plans on making him another cake (she loves to have any excuse to bake).
So.................Happy Birthday, Allan. Am I allowed to say "You are now officially a "Senior Citizen".......62 years, young.
